Caffeine

Tips to reduce caffeine from your drink:

1. Drink decaf coffee 

2. If you prefer some caffeine mix half a cup of regular coffee with half a cup of decaf coffee.

3. Avoid energy drinks like Red Bull, celsius, monster. The main ingredient of most energy drinks is caffeine.

4. Drink non-caffeine tea, amazing flavors of non-caffeine tea are easily available at the grocery store. Some popular brands are Tazo, Lipton, Twinning and Celestial.

  • Reducing caffeine drinks before pregnancy may be helpful.

  • Too much caffeine may linked to reducing the chance of getting pregnant.

  • Too much caffeine intake during pregnancy can to lower birth weight of baby.

  • Less caffeine intake is safe before and during pregnancy.

  • Less than 200mg of caffeine per day, or 12 oz cup of coffee, thought to be safe during preconception and pregnancy.

  • Monitor caffeine content in coffee, tea, chocolates, snacks, and other beverages to ensure it stays within the recommended limit.
